Why aren't there high-resolution versions of the photos that I can print out?
The majority of choir photos are not digital. Instead, they were scanned over the years, and for preservation, were scanned at very high resolutions that are unsuitable for web presentation. For easy website viewing, we have to hand-optimize each photo file, and we choose to optimize the photos so they appear well on your computer screen. To have each photo sized for print as well, we would have to optimize two versions of each photo, and frankly, there isn't enough time already for all the choir photos that exist! However, if there is a specific photo that you would like to have as a high-resolution file, just e-mail us and we will try to help.

Who writes the captions for the photos?
Captions are taken directly from what was written by the historian in the original scrapbook. For photos without captions, the editor of this website attempts to fill in where possible with names and locations.
